Job Purpose

  • Effective administrative advice and legal support in matters related to the Qatar Stars League regarding compliance with required legal provisions and contractual obligations. He is also responsible for developing and enforcing the organization’s policies and procedures, creating complex records and reports, conducting the necessary analyzes and studies, and ensuring the provision of all litigation services.

Responsibilities and job role

  1. Formulate legal strategies and establish standards and procedures that support legal and operational compliance with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures in the organization.


  1. Manage contract management processes in order to monitor compliance with all contracts of the organization
  1. Formulate an appropriate tender strategy and provide guidance and input on contractual/legal issues during the tender evaluation phase as necessary
  1. Review and validate all financial, regulatory, governmental, IT and other contractual agreements to ensure compliance with legal provisions and uphold the interests of the organization.
  2. Provide input on all complex contractual matters such as bulk purchase and supply agreements, external/internal vendor contracts
  3. Liaise with other departments to identify any potential risk areas for the organization and directs risk mitigation through measures such as conflict prevention/resolution, contractual issues resolution etc.
  4. Oversees the provision of legal opinion and advice on all transactions in line with policies and procedures and provides legal approvals in order to minimize financial, legal and reputational risks
  5. Advises senior management on legal issues and emerging trends, developments and risk factors in the external legal environment
  6. Develops legal documents, terms and conditions, and directs contract negotiations, as appropriate, in order to limit the Company's legal exposure and protect the integrity of its business practices
  7. Manages all pending legal disputes, court cases, lawsuits, etc. as required and ensures that up-to-date records are kept for the same.
  8. Coordinates with external law firms in cases where cases are outsourced and ensures that cases are dealt with in line with established guidelines and procedures and the interests and rights of the organization are protected.
  9. Lead and direct the investigation of workers' compensation claims against the Corporation, including fact-finding and fraud investigations

Qualifications & Experience


  • Holds a bachelor's degree in law.


Knowledge and experience:

  • 10-12 years of experience in the legal field, 5 of which are in a senior administrative and supervisory position.
